This solution allows you to permanently disable the Multi-Displacement System in your 2006–2014 Dodge, Ram, Jeep, or Chrysler, ensuring your engine runs on all cylinders at all times for maximum power and performance.
RTD is tune delivery device, it only removes the car owner’s ability to view or edit a tune, making it simple for you to install a professionally calibrated and personalized tune. The RTD can easily read files and share data logs directly with your tuner, leaving tuning up to the professionals.

What is Multi-Displacement System?
Multi-Displacement System is Chrysler's take on Variable Displacement technology, which deactivates a portion of the vehicle's cylinders in order to improve fuel economy while reducing power on low demands. The vehicle will reactivate these cylinders once you begin accelerating again. Chrysler first introduced MDS in 2005 to all 5.7L Hemi V8 engines, then later on expanded the lineup to all 6.4L V8 engines.
So, why turn off MDS? Hundred of thousands of vehicles equipped with the 5.7L and the 6.4L V8 have encountered lifter failure, noisy valvetrain, ticking, stuck valves, and more. If you hear any of these symptoms on your vehicle, it may cause engine failure. By disabling or permanently deleting MDS, you will gain full engine power at all times.
Many people delete MDS once it's too late. If you are too late, you will be needed to replace the parts below in order for your engine to run smoothly.

The TDN is compatible with all current and previous HP Tuners OBDII modules, MPVI3, MPVI2+, MPVI2, RTD Gen 3, RTD+, and RTD.
